whats up everyone noob to the board, definetly not mazda.
just bought what i initially had in mind to be a winter beater but the lady is so clean its become my new project car, my other vehicle is a lightly modified 2003 protege5.
anyways i picked up a 1994 mx-3 1.8v6 for 1500 bucks, no rust a couple scratches, apparently previous owner used this as a summer car only.
only stock for the moment! looking to dump a klde and boost the heck out of it!

well first off where are you from? If you invest some time you can find just about anything you need for the right price, Escort Zx2 for struts.. ebay for some lights corksport for a bunch of goodies.. awr for mounts whiteline for some swaybars lol. Or be like the rest of us and wait for some poor soul on the site to part with their beloved goods for your car. -after all i just got myself some projectors finally lol

i'm from Toronto, Canada.
i'm slowly gonna begin modding it this week, its not even being plated till september 15, but i have a single din dvd head unit
and a single 12" sub going in tomorrow, hopefully followed by some 17" konig unknowns this weekend if i can get the deal done in time, as well tinted window will hopefully be done before i plate it.
i'll be stockpiling parts over the winter for a serious spring install, i already have a mazdaspeed protege lsd that i found out will work so thats a bonus, i'd like figure out a way to make my msp turbo(t25) work, and my neighbour works for tiger japanese but i have decided on klze or klde swap yet(klde is more boost friendly). i really dont wanna have to purchase another turbo kit so if the t25 cant be use3d i'll probably stick to naturally aspirated klze.

i live in scarborough, but i work at airport mazda(parts guy) highway 27 and rexdale,
i gots me some big dreams, but as many can attest to budgets are smaller after kids lol.
i had a pretty serious build going on my protege5, but money and rust became issues.
so i put all interchangable goodies on my gf's protege5 and picked this lil beast up, i have a build sheet starting in my head already but boost is hopefully in the near future(spring)
maybe sooner if i can figure out how to mate a t25 to a v6.
nightshade we'll definetly be talking soon.

Welcome. Be patient and take your time. The MX-3 is a great ride and easy to mod and best of all, it's not a Honda. Great looking car good luck.

t25-t28 work better on small(ish) 4cyls. Def too small for a KL and will run out of breath early on a K8.
