All there is to it is cut, and weld. I used some crappy rebar lol but it worked. You dont need templates for it.

I cut both pipes out and took a 1/4 steel plate, and fabed a skid plate up. I thought with everything running so low to the ground, it would be best to protect it all. I'll take some pics tomorrow. I have the engine out right now so you'll get a good look at it

I've never studied or even looked into boosting, so this might be dumb, but...

Why can't we run ALL the pipes (aside from front head exhaust) behind and over the transmission?

R head + L head -> (up around transmission) Turbo -> (back over transmission) exhaust.

Too much piping/hastle/not enough room? Even with remote turbos, people don't see significant lag from longer exhaust between the engine and turbo.

It seems that most just cut the center out FAB in their exhaust pipes and weld the crossmember around the pipes. there are some scarry looking ones out there, it would make sense to me with all of the V6 guys turboing their cars that someone isnt fabricating a replacement X-brace or even just a template to cut out and new section to weld in.

I know when i did my AWD swap i had to do much of the same, but i was able to blend parts from two different X-braces, with some home made parts

Here you can see part of it and my modded trailing arm motor mount
