I bought Starcraft 2 today....anyone else get it? lol

I used to be super nerd in Starcraft Broodwars.

Clans, chat, the whole shebang.

I even wrote a few of my own maps, mostly Defense style maps.

I was good with Zerg and Protoss, could never get the hang of Terran, except for floating a Barraks just out of view behind a base for a quick marine rush, avoiding the entrance defenses...

Protoss mind control was the best. Steal a Drone, make a whole nother race... Then you could do s--- like that Arbiter ability, recall a mass of lurkers to the centre of a base.

Yeah, those were the sad, lonely, dark days in the corner

i have to upgrade my gfs comp before i can get it . my netbook simply doesnt have the balls and hers is a bit outdated... goin from a celeron 2.53ghz with radeon 9600gt to a pentium d 3.4ghz and radeon 5770.

i cant wait to play it the vids on youtube look awesome.

on a side note, who is ready for diablo 3 to come out

Haha More than I can say I have. I have my laptop to run it...Which BARELY does the job...doesnt lag out when too much stuff is happening....yet...Kinda makes me want to run Starcraft 1 just so I can get the proper graphics and everything out of it you know.. that game was so much fun. Starcraft 2 will be pretty intense im assuming...

Diablo 3....Hmmm... i can say I am equally stoked for it. I haven't read much about it though...Hows it sound?
I was hardcore into Diablo 2..i have the save file on a flash drive...thats how proud I am of it. I haven't played it in a little while though. would love to get back into it just to be ready for Diablo 3. haha

Same here...I was more into Diablo II, and will most likely get 3.

d3 looks crazy. check out some of the vids on youtube. the storyboard cut scenes look even better then d2 and the game play videos look pretty intense. as far as i remember they changed the classes around a bit and theyve added another 2 i think...

Man I love Diablo II, I got the patch from my buddy at work, then from there just went nuts with the Druid...making the deadliest guy ever haha

i dont think theyve made an official release date but the head of blizzard said we might see 2 big title releases this year. aka star craft 2 and diablo 3. they said that last year when star craft 2 was delayed to this year so who knows

Been playing it for the past week... Sleep is at an all time low...


I only played the campaign for about 2 hours, and might I say I'm very disappointed in the online players... Either they are all noobs or they forgot all the tactics that you learned from starcraft.

Lol Sleep's always a low for me...Now is worse than ever though, i work at 5:15am everyday, so im in pretty rough shape
I've never actually played online...Seen it, but never played it. Who do you play as?
