Whats up fellas, and occasional lady fellas. I recently bought a 92 MX-3 GS with a DE swap from a friend. At first I wouldnt have looked twice at the car but its grown on me and now I cant get away from it lol. Its ugly(tough love) but its my ugly MX-3. An ugly duckling if you will. But yeah..Im your regular teenage kid, 19, work at elementary school, have a dog named peanut, and i drag race an 03 worthy 4-link dragster with a 555c.i BBC in putting out probably upwards of 800hp

But yeah, you guys are the s---, and your knowledge bank here has already been beyond helpful.
My race car, sorry for the hugeness. Was 4 different colors when i bought it..now is...almost..one lol

annnd my OTHER race car

Holy crap! I'm sure it'll look much better after some paint

But welcome to the forums, where are you located?
You've got some nice toys for your age.

Size shouldn't matter. Welcome, do you have plans for the car?

For now I just want to get it cleaned up and painted and other little cosmetic things. Its gonna take awhile but i'm gonna save up and work on putting the car on boost. But I wanna do it right and we all know to do it right you need the coin lol. But if I cant turbo it, i'll probably end up putting a stealth nitrous settup on her..and hope for the best.

Welcome! I'm impressed that, coming from a drag racing family, you didn't go for a Mustang, or such. With a little work, you'll love the lateral G-forces!
So, what kind of times do you get in that dragster? Being in Florida, you can race some 12 second MX-3s. I think there's an 11 second one there, too, and other 11 second KLs.
I'm looking forward to you progress, and worklog!

I have a ferocious hatred for mustangs actually lol. I'm a chevy guy. But yeah, its an odd choice to say the least, but these cars are way more fun and you can put more of your touch into them then any muscle car really. And i believe my best 1/4 mile E.T is 7.62 at 171mph or somewhere around there, it's a bracket racing car so its more consistant than fast. I'm hoping to contribute something to the community here in the future and not just be a total a-- :p

Excellent point...which I of course read explicitly in your first post.
