What are these Vacuum Solenoids for?

While trying to replace my fuel lines I fount this set of vacuum solenoids behind and to the left of the fuel filter (when viewed from the front of the car). They were both hooked up electrically, but no vacuum lines were run to them, just the one in between.

Anyone know what they are for? Unneeded remnant of my KLZE swap?

if I remeber correctly they should have vac lines going to the small vac lines on the rear of the intake manifold.

+1 on EGR solenoids. One is vacuum the other vent. If you have a ZE, there's no egr, thus no need for these

That was my first guess, EGR. I could have sworn the EGR was on the other side of the engine though, that's why I wasn't sure.
