Alpine IVA-W505

I just got my 505 installed and was all amped to use my flash drive with music on it but the deck isn't readin all the songs that i put onto it. help?

what format is your song in some headunits only read certain formats.

well i had it working at one point, but online, it says the deck can read all audio files. the jump drive is in FAT format and most songs are mp3, and i noticed one album is wma. this is so irritating. lol

hmm maybe ur flash drive on the head unit went bad ive seen that happen.

no on the head unit they tend to burn out sometimes

yes think of it as getting a new battery while guarenteed they work sometimes they dont always work. usb ports use a certain amount of energy and can short curcuit on occasion where theres too much power going to it!

no prob if ur interested in a head unit or any info feel free to ask im actually a car audio salesman for best buy im workin to get my mecp certification to installl it for the company. so i know a bit about things.
