Would a TOT57271 work for you?

Rockauto had this disty (no cap or rotor) if you search for a 94 mx3 GS IIRC. When I was looking, I came across this. It was around 60 bucks US.

It's worth a look if you get time. It's still there ( a closeout special). I did check the part# listed is for 94 only.

BECK/ARNLEY Part # 1850630
REMANUFACTURED; Grooved Rotor Shaft [Wholesaler Closeout -- 30 Day Warranty]

$65.79

I love Rockauto. They usually have a 3 day delivery time and their products are all very good quality. I've saved over 50% on a lot of items I've bought over Canadian prices.

Thats good to hear. I will consider he disty that Mazdags94 listed, will be like 90 something shipped. Is that what you bought when you needed a disty Mazdags94? I have a good cap and rotor so this may be a good option.

Yeah, I picked up this opne and the one from johnmxze. I couldn't pass up a new 94 disty. I haven't used it yet but I'm sure it works. There was another member on here that bought this disty for his 94 and it worked out just fine.

I remember finding prices around 300 when shopping for them new and I thought, hell no! I almost thought I had to go that route until I found this one and johnmxze's.

Also, if you look at the product through the Beck and Arnley website (http://www.beckcatalog.com/#" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), they list this product number ONLY for the 94. the 92-93 is different. I believe this is a remanufactured disty, but still a good price. I think having the grooved rotor shaft or not will affect the type of cap and rotor you put on and that's it.

Thanks for the info. What is the grooved rotor shaft anyways?

the only thing I could think of would be a groove in the shaft where the rotor goes on and then the cap. Maybe it makes the rotor "key in" kinda like the crank pulley...? That would be my guess but I doubt it's anything critical. If it was, there would most likely be a thread on it since so many people go through disty's (except those who have a 94 disty since theyre supposed to have a better internal coil).
