My KLZE normally idles a little rough, but not enough to worry about. When I jump TEN and GND to get diagnostic mode, the engine idles very erratically, slowing down to 600rpm and then jumping to 1500rpm. When I remove the jumper (erm, paper clip), the idle is smooth again (well, relatively smooth, anyway).

Is this normal or is it indicative of a problem?

Ok feeling like an idiot here but what isn't in the sytem in diag. When the jumper is removed the 650 usually jumps to 700rpm and I can't remember why.
