About my car.
I bought it in the summer of '07. From a mechanic friend who had it sitting around, with no motor,rust,dents,paint fade.I paid $600, he dropped a k8 in and we called it good. I fell in love.


I did simple stuff such as Tint, muffler, shaded my lights, replace valve cover, and so on.When the projector lights came out, had to get both black and chrome: with 6000k H.I.Ds. My friend sold me some 17'' rims off his accord, so i ran those for a whlie. I began primer/painting . I did little things because I had no where to park car and do big projects.









After Having the car for sometime now, and seeing some awesome builds on this forum, that have truly inspired me. Im ready to get Serious.

Now that i have a shop to myself. I've begun taking the motor out. Been looking around town for a decent mx-6. Take the goods, friend will pay for shell. Friday I'll have my impact gun to get the axel bolts. Clean/paint engine bay. swaap...

Oh yeah, and I actually like the paint job.

Yeah its hard to stay focused with them watching over. Got some other good ones I haven't put up yet. Not thrilled, gotta take over my friends OA torch to heat up the axel bolts. Its double punched, and flat head isn't making progress...Would of had motor/tran out last night, broke wrench and darn axel bolt....Friday!!

Finally got around to posting.

K8 parts/junk: maybe hold on to it rebuild clean it.







Cleaning the hatch area up,some rust spots to take care off, going to paint it as well. It been to Humid to paint.
Thou I got to clean the wheel wells, throw down some rubber protective.next I need to get under the car and clean it. Respray it too, factory stuff coming off.

Not far along be for I have the new motor ordered/in, along with new front end braking/suspension parts, replacing it all. Ebay coils, no no.

Update, I've decided to go a different route. Im keeping my K8 and going all out on it. I figured the money i'd spend tryin to get a decent swap motor i could get some goodies. With that said, going to machine shop once i get the pistons,rods, and rings.
