has anyone tried putting zx2 springs on their car? i have searched the site and only saw people using zx2 struts. I looked at ebay and they have a bunch of zx2 springs. I am wondering if anybody has tried this since we use the same struts. Thanks for all your help

There is a grand amount of miscommunication on this.

ZX2 SR are the good struts that people want. Stock ZX2 struts/springs are just OEM Mazda stuff, nothing special. I have put a set of scrap yard zx2 spring/struts on my RS, and it rode a bit higher. I don't think the struts were much different.

sure, you can use ZX2 stuff, but the spring rates will be designed for a heavier car (ride like s---)

I use the Eibach lowering springs for the ZX2. Problem is that car is heavier than ours so I find them a little too stiff.
