And, most importantly, whenever you're doing something: http://www.mx-3.com/manuals/index.php?folder=/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Whenever you have a seemingly basic question: http://www.mx-3.com/phpBB3/search.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

A tune up is a good place to start, get yourself familiar with the locations of the very basic stuff. Plug wires, plugs, oil change, fuel filter, air filter (or CAI, your choice), valvecover gaskets....

Oh, and pick up a metric socket set, from like 5mm-21mm, and you'll need a few deep sockets too. Plugs are 5/8 IIRC.

Welcome man, glad to see more people coming on here, making the community bigger
Anyways, just start where you're comfortable, when I got my first car (RIP pontiac shitbird) I just familiarized myself with all the basics like oil, sparks, etc., it also helps because mx-3's are very easy to work on, I've been told they are one of the more "amateur-friendly" cars to work on best spot though is youtube for sure, lots of examples and how-to's
anyways, good luck, and post some pictures of this "rare" mx3 lol :D

Welcome!

I think if a new member question is asked in an introduction its ok to answer it... Its only once they make a thread somewhere else that its open season...

Yeah, this guy doesn't sound like a dingleberry. I get pretty excited when intelligent sounding people show up :)

Seems like the quiz doesn't work anymore...
