Im Ryan, Got me '95 mx3 6-cyl, and have about 30 posts worth of questions in me before I offer it for sale on this forum...

but before I do that, ive got prove myself apparently. so this is me saying hi, and announcing my intentions while hopefully avoiding the appearance of an uninterested spammer/scammer.

so here's my first question:
what is the estimated difference in price between a 95 4-cyl mx-3, and the six cylinder model?

also, how similar is the mx3 to the mx5 mechanically?

I doubt you have a '95 V6, unless its Canadian. The V6 stopped in the US in '94, so that's probably the year of your car. As for price, there isn't much difference really, not from what I've noticed at least.

hmmm... thats strange. ive had people ask me if it was a '97 before.

heres a good question:
without paperwork (any kind of papers at all, actually), how might one know for sure what year an mx-3 might be? might there be some kind of vin number database to consult?

Hi. My family has a farm outside of Witchita. I believe that there is a VIN explenation on this forum somewhere, but hopefully, someone who knows, will reply. A couple of the nubers tell you the manufacture date, but I don't remember which. Why do you want to sell it?

Its the 10th digit of the VIN that tells you the model year

It'll also say what year the car was built (maybe even the month) on the VIN sticker on the door jam if i remember right...

ive lost my drivers liscence for three years, and this car sitting in my driveway is taking up too much room.
