Hi

When I fill up my fuel tank the needle reads full. After driving for 30 km or so and the fuel level in teh tank decreases the gauge reads empty and fluctuates. After 150km of drivng the fuel gauge reads empty all the time. Any ideas?

How far can you go on a tank of gas?

atleast 300km. its def a fault in the gauge

Pull out your back seat
Pull of the metal plate covering the fuel pump
Open it up and look inside at the float.

Sometimes they leak, fill with gas, and sink. when your tank actually gets empty, it could be leaking out again, and then filling slowly when you fill....
