so i dropped the klze in my car. after some little tuning a and rixing up its finally a daily driver. but when i had the k8 i had a belt squeel. tried everything to get it to stop. and now it does it on my klze. i figured out its something electrical. because it only happens when my chargeing system goes under a load. when i hit the brakes all my lights flash when the tail lights turn on. same with headlights, and turning on the heater. anyone know what it is? or what to do?

i had this problem where when i turned on my hazard lights my rpm gauge would bounce up and down in accordance with the lights.. i have a servicable? battery and added some water to it and the problem went away.

+1. did you bring your old alternator over? if the problem pre-existed the engine, then it's not (or pretty unlikely) to be any pulley on the engine. either that or you consistently don't tension your belts right

oh.. and squealing belt from low coolant...?

haha i tightened the belt and it stops squeeling now. but it still surges when i hit the brakes.

check your alty..... mine was toast too. kept eating belts.

well will the one that came with my klze work as a replacement?
