Meet the new member of the family

So, I've been away for some time after I had the incident with my MX3. Well, now she's fixed, but since she has no heater, i couldn't drive it alll the time as the heater doesnt work because of the impact. So I just picked up another toy. No, not an MX3, as they're impossible to find in california. THis is my 92 Miata, which needs a bit of tlc, but is in generally good condition. Mechanically it's perfect, but cosmetically it has a couple of flaws (the back window was cut and there is a massive dent behind the passenger door). But I still love it and it drives like a dream.

Jealous. If I could afford one, I'd have a Miata. And it'd be very turbo'd t shut up the 'Miatas are girl cars' crowd :D

Ryan, which brings up the question why your Mx3 isnt turbo'd to shut up the 'Precidias are girl cars' crowd ...

most 92 miata Ive seen in ontario are 40% rust, gotta love california

I quite frankly never considered mx5's to be girl cars, but it is only the people driving around powerful muscle cars that would flip over on a corner. on a straightaway the miata would not keep up with those monsters, but anything with corners it will give them a run for their money.

The interesting thing is that I actually see more girls driving around mustangs or Celicas than miatas.

Why do u think MX-3's are hard to find in Cali? I see them for sale in CA mostly there and Florida then anywhere else.

they are not hard completely hard to find if you live in san fran or los angeles. But i live in the central valley, where SUVs and lifted trucks are the most common thing on the road, and small cars that are not toyotas are hard to come by. Lately though, the car/large vehicle ratio has evened out a bit.
