323 Manual Steering rack

Ok so as hppwdn wrote up you can use the 323 manual rack.

Problem is the RHD 323s over here 90-94 had power steering. So my question is what RHD options do I have?

We have the 323 85-90 manual steering rack 323 85-90 manual

Regarding the LHD rack, is it reversible? I'm unsure of the symmetry, could it be flipped and used RHD? In Andy's pic it looked like the pinion was vertical to the rack, but I'm guessing it is angled toward the firewall.

EDIT looking at more pics the reversible aspect looks highly unlikely.

Anyone any ideas?

I found DanSacs thread on his RHD BG conversion, he talks of ordering a RHD manual steering rack. Just got to find out where now!

Conclusion:

There doesn't seem to be a RHD manual rack available.

So this is the way to go:

This explains how to properly depower, not looping the lines! This makes it pretty much just like a manual rack in feeling. You need to register to view I believe.
