removing factory head deck on a autozam az3

hey bit of a noob question but i google on how to remove factory head deck on a 1992 mazda autozam az3 and it lead me to this fourm, am i on the right fourm for a mazda autozam az3? if so i need help removing the twin head deck.

all the plastic facing is all attached as one to the dash which covers the speedo gauge cluster and im not sure how to take off iv undone every screw i cant find and i dont know how to take the top cover bit over the speedo cluster as there are no screws, this is a RHD manual btw

i can get all the lower stuff off its just trying to get the top bits off to removing the hole thing to get to my head deck to take out, cant find any screws and don't want to break it. do i need to remove the steering coloum covers? and how do i remove the top speedo cover?

Okay, go into your car and get really close to your stereo. You'll notice on both decks, there are two small rubber covers on each side of the decks. Pull those off. Then if you don't have the removal tool, you can get 2 pieces of wire and bend it so you can get both wires in all 4 holes. Then you lightly bend the wires in and pull the deck out. By placing the wires in, it bends the bracket back, so it's not hitting the inside dash. Make sure your deck doesn't have the security code on, or write it down. Cause if you don't have that if you install it again, cost you alot of money to activate it at the dealership.
