Ok, so my car's timing belt tensioner failed (thank God for non - interference engines) and I took it to my friend Ivan who is also an mx3 freak.
I dont have time because I now have school and work.
Anywho if you think this enginebay looks ugly now... you should have seen it a week ago.. wires EVERYWHERE.
Ill be painting the engine bay and cleaning the engine in the summer, but this will do for now. I must say he did an awesome job... it really was horrible compared to now.
and
Oh yeah and this is how it sorta used to look.....
YES YES I KNOW the boost gauge was connected wrong.. :/
ALso I have since then removed my power steering and used a mazda 323 rack which I must say is VERY nice

Well yes the wire tidy is good! Damn man, hose that bay down! It looks like it could be nice though. Keep at it
Powersteering delete makes for a tidy bay... if only they'd sell the manual rack here!

It's looks better than it was, but when I saw the first pic I thought your engine bay had caught on fire.

yes it did
a long time ago... caused by the cursed kfze engine... darn that engine!
anywho.. yeah I will paint it. Its at the shop now, tomorrow I take delivery!
It had oil leaks in the cam seals and I didnt feel like fixing it myself. I saw the guy change my timing belt in 30 minutes.
Also he re did the whole interior harness.... so now everything works. No more shorts here and there.
I had him wire the fan to at acc key and to a switch for when I dont want it to come on (cold mornings)
Also I had him make the turbo piping a tad smaller, replaced turbo and vaf. My vaf had been bad all this time. The car now HAULS. When im driving , it sounds like a semi.. the turbo spools around 2500 rpms. Ill make a video asap!
