Update: I finally have my car back. It runs, and I love it. Even if it no longer has a heater or AC...or if it looks like it does. Powersteering and radiator and belts were replaced. The one thing i have to get now is the hood, as the one it has doesn't close fully and is all bent, and I can't take it on the freeway that way.

My beloved MX3 GS was victim of a car crash this evening at about 6:30PM, into the back of a van (which only suffered slight scratches). the whole front was damaged, the radiator and power steering and ac condenser are gone, as are both headlights. but th car luckily still runs. Tomorrow, I will go to the junk yard and see if I can find another GS. wish me luck

i had the same situation. no more then 20 MPH, that much damage.

as long as the frame is not messed up you should be ok though.. my frame was fine so i just replaced the damaged parts.

and now she's beautiful!

yeah that's similar damage when I had the wreck in the race car... no more than 20mph but the frame wasn't bent. We had to pull the rad support back and realign some things and get new parts.

It's funny though how much damage this car can take, yet the other car (or in my case, minivan), didn't take

when I got out of the car and saw the other car was perfectly fine, i was like "you've GOT to be kidding me.. >_>"

though i am thankful that their car was fine.

It's designed to be fast and light! Who cares about safety  Just keep her out of harm's way and she'll thank you for it on the track ;D

U hit something higher than you.
if you hit a pick-up or SUV, it'd be worse. :p

glad you're okay and plan to get her fixed.
time to upgrade some of your stuff such as the projector headlight n etc hehe.

oh yeah I'm not complaining at all! I just am always amazed at these stories where the other doesn't even have a dent on it!
