Assuming he's american... what would he all have to pay for? Just hope that the VW driver had insurance?

Oh, yeah, I remember that one.
I started driving german cars for my Dad when I was 12, to move them from his shop to storage. I could have EASILY done something like this, but was careful. He even let me drive his Porsches. Now, when I was 16, and borrowing stranger's cars without them knowing, I did some stuff like this, but was lucky not to hurt anyone. One time I threw 5 people out of the back of a pickup, but they all landed back in, and were inebriated enough to not get seriously hurt.

I don't know what the mr2 driver was thinking. Not even worth the time showing off for a jetta which are a dime a dozen and OMG a type r Integra. (probably a mock up one like most jdm integra here in the states) Mr2's are not a everyday car you see unless you own one or know someone that does. I'm lucky enough to own one and wouldn't give the car up for almost nothing. Parts are hard to find, not easy to fix and a car that has a learning curve to it if you want to push the car to it's limits. But I feel sorry for the mr2 driver and the jetta. But they might want to look into geico.
