ok so Ive done the sohc/bp disty+coil swap and am now wrenching on a ms2 and after a few months of fighting the ms2 and trying to diagnose wiring problems it turns out the msd blaster 2 is a complete piece of s--- >:C. Ive been searching around trying to find something decent as far as an ignition coil gos but it seems like no one really has that department covered so i was wondering if anyone has some insight on any coils that would preform well and not crap out after a couple months :C.

i currently have a Mallory pro-master? coil on my 93 but the thing is as big as a cinder block so id like something more pliable. any info helps.

indeed
still no breakthrough information
i was thinking of getting another Mallory but its too bulky
msd doesn't work, the coils fail constantly
accel - nuff said
hypertech - lols
proform - lols again
moroso - seems to be the same quality of the msd

those are the only ones ive heard anything about

Try to draw up how you are wiring these failing MSD's in
and I'll correct it if it needs. If not still post it so I can see
what your doing.

12v on startup
6v running
its all wired up by relays and toggle switches
simply put the msd just fails
i used to work for a national auto parts chain and i would see a lot of them come back
i had a friend who purchased two in a row that were faulty ^_^
