okay so i have a 1996 RS and I need to replace the left driveshaft and left lower suspension arm (control arm), I found a 1992 RS that runs for spare parts thats close to me. Is there any difference with these parts because of the year difference?
Or should I go ahead and buy the car?

Shafts are different from ATX to MTX. Cars with ABS have a tone ring on the shafts so if your 96 is ABS and the donor isn’t you will have to transfer the tone ring from your old shaft to the replacement...slight pain in the butt.

I believe all ATX shafts are the same length regardless of year, but I believe there is a difference from 93’ to 94’ on MTX trannies.

Not all non-ABS shafts are milled to take the ABS ring.
