A lot of work, I respect that, the widebody looks kind of tacky but there is a lot of work into that car.

Not to much there in the way of engine work though, stock motor just with a set of headers and beefed up clutch with a higher output alternator and a dry cell battery (those are costly) most of the work has been body/ interior work. I agree with 93vtecklr a lot of work but not my taste.

Appraised at 25k...lol 25k pennies.

If you're into the custom look thing, by all means...but I'm not the biggest fan. Paint looks nice, but I don't like the wheel arches or the thing he did w/ the back. No pics of the interior, unless I didn't find them.

Stock motor ftl.

I like the rear hatch replacement thing...

a little extreme but for a bodykit mx-3 I like it... as far as custom work I think it's on par with colins old car.

Colin was always saying how there was some custom yellow MX-3 he saw at shows but the guy would never talk to him. I wonder if this is it?

P.S. - Yeah Moon, the hatch is something else ain't it? ;D

i like kitted cars but this one just kills all the lines of the car. the hatch looks like a modded del sol trying to be a porsche. and i don't know why he would choose that front bumper out all the kits out there. plus i hate hate HATE the slammed to the ground, covering the actual wheels, bumper car look.

wide body part looks nice

ok you guys want the down low on this thing??

ok he had a klze mx3, then rear ended a tahoe and both vehicles burst into flames. this happened 2 weeks after he modified that hatch.

ok the whole body kit is made out of metal. i was talking to him for along time at scrape by the lake car show.

ya a full metal body kit sounds VERY heavy.

At least this one doesn’t look like it was fabbed by a 12 year old. I will just never understand why a person would spend that kind of money on a car and then try to sell it. No matter how “interesting” it is or how many trophies it’s won, no one is ever EVER going to give you anything close to what you invested.

When I go to sell mine I'll be taking an EPIC LOSS on it. But I knew that going in, the money spent is more of an entertainment budget than a pure dollars and cents car budget. And for whoever buys it, they get the benefit of an already well done car at a fraction of the price to build it. Some people enjoy building them more them more than having a nice finished piece.

Although, the next project may hold it's value a little better than my little mx3 with a gagillion dollars spent on it over the years.

Just curious why the swap from power to manual windows? Most people want the opposite...
