Ok, First off Hello everyone.This is my first Real post on here besides my introduction.lol Anyways, got my first mx3 tonight. its a 92 mx3 gs auto v6. The car has been sittin the last 2 yrs and has only had 2 owners, and now me.

165k on the speedo
drilled rotors
SS brake lines
K&N air filter
Tokico struts(gotts check to see if there real)
Magnaflow exhaust(which i doubt is real to)
16' rims


this is wat was told to me. i will get a better look at things 2mrrw as i start strippin stuff off the car. interior is VERY clean. but does need a good washin as it has that old wet smell kinda to it. But neways, enough talkin, on wit pics.

Overall, i think the car is in great shape. havent found any rust spots yet but that will proly change once i dig deeper into this project. Sum of my plans are as follows:

Well thats all for now. gonna start taking the motor/tranny out maybe 2mrrw or monday. and im gonna get the auto trans fixed for now, till i can get everything i need to do the entire swap within a few days, instead of piecing everything 2gether here and there. also gonna keep the paint white, just gonna get it repainted the stock paint color. carpet will be dyed black, and maybe gonna paint the interior, but idk yet.

I have never seen an mx with a different colour plastic panals/dash.

well didnt get to much done 2day, as its real muggy and kept rainin off n on. but i did get the rad/fans out, exhaust unhooked, intake system off, old security system out, ps unhooked, batt out, lots of sensors unhooked, and a few other things. hopefully ill be able to pull the motor n trans 2mrrw. and start pulling the unnessacary stuff out, diff wires, ac componets, and just w.e im not gonna use over. well heres the only 2 pics i could get as it was rainin and didnt wanna ruin my camera.






Seeing as if i get the motor/trans out 2mrrw. and get all the lil things pulled, im gonna soak the bay down with degreaser, clean it up real good, and gonna primer it, and go with a high gloss black for the bay. But neways, lemme kno what u guys think.

Got summore work done on the car today. took alot more stuff out the bay that i wasnt gonna need. sprayed the bay down with purple power, let it soak, rinsed off, sprayed it down again, scrubbed the real dirty areas, and found that parts that i didnt even kno they was suppose to be white...lol anyways heres a few pics

and the car had a nice PS cooler on it, gonna reuse this one..lol




Thats all for 2day. didnt get the bay as clean as i want it but looks hella better than it did. lol still decidin if i wanna paint the bay glossy black or leave it like it is, but i do want a clean lookin bay, and dirt wont show as bad on a black bay... hmmm Anyways, i may start sprayin primer on the bay 2mrrow if i feel like it, or start takin the interior out and gettin it all clean and dye the carpet black. and also try and fix the leak from the damn moonroof. XD Lemme kno what u guys think.

Went to Ford 2day and got new Teflon orings so when i put the gt ps lines into the mx3. Also cleaned the bay up a lil more, removed sum more stuff, and also put a coat of primer over the bay. gonna put another coat 2mrrw, then start throwin the black on proly fri and sat. Also got the whole bottom half of the dash apart, took the auto shifter out, and sum other things... gonna try and start takin the pedals and **** out 2mrrw. well on to sum pics

i dnt think its the ecu cuz i alrdy took 1 ecu out when i ripped the engine harness out... but i could be wrong... just wondering if i can trash it or not

well small update 2day. Put another coat of primer on the bay, let it dry for a few hours then, thru-out the day, i put 2 coats of high-temp, rust resistant gloss black. might throw one more coat on it 2mrrw, depends how it looks when i go up there and see it in the sunlight. but neways, heres a few pics

That box under your stereo area is your automatic tranny ECU.
