Congratulations!
Now, tell me you're gonna take that "F" word off your valve covers...

Cool, good job on that, hopefully it runs well. Needs a good clean man...

For sure, will clean. And that VC will definitely go, can't stand looking at those 4 ugly letters

Check out that junkyard on mavis rd that I told you about for the IM, I saw a KL millenia there not too long ago.
And congrats

When do you plan on doing the swap?
Oh and if you're gonna change the water pump and timing belt while it's out, I have a water pump that has really low miles apparently, I don't need it because mine stopped leaking.

Are you kidding?

That's minimal. Under the VC was a little brown but nothing that a few oil changes with synthetic won't change.

Have the valve covers and intake powder coated. I didn't and now wish I had of. Is there any reason why he can't use the K8 valve covers? Replace all the rubber hoses now whle it's out. Buy some Devcon Duathane 94 and fill the mounts about 2/3rds as the K8 mounts are too soft. Replace the timing belt and how about a new clutch disk and bearing?

I'd rebuild it while it's out.... after having gone through the drama of getting a rooted ZE the first time, there's no harm in making a fresh engine with 0 kms

Unfortunately I don't have the money for a rebuild. Every mod I do to my car is on a budget, as you can see even by this purchase. I'll do the basic maintenance stuff and drop it in and see how it goes.

Wow that is a good deal. I spent >$400 to replace head gaskets. Have fun with the swap.

What a great feeling to finally get your first ZE. Congratulations. I paid $900 for mine and I even picked it up. I’m not going to complain though. It’s the nicest engine to drive that I’ve ever owned. This is what the MX-3 should have been all along.
