Good morning guys,

Last night i was driving around and my 92 mx-3 ZEswap 5 speed, and it just stalls and starts. I find it's mostly after i press the gas.Just like somebody flicks a light switch on and off and on and off. At idle it is fine. subs, amp and radio do not cut out, just engine.been fine for 25000km i have changed the distributor and the computer to test, so those are out of the question. Battery is in the trunk due to straight neck, Anyone have any suggestions?

Car runs good at idle,
press gas on neutral, all is fine.
Put in gear, press gas, shift, gas(4000 rpm), stall & instantly start (Started in 3rd, now in 2nd and 1st too) sometimes 3-4-5 times in a row, RPM needle drops to "0" then starts up. gives a nasty gerk to the car. looks like i dont know how to drive lol
neutral, rev, fine to red line
Subs amp do not cut or reset
Any help?
(didnt check anything fuel related seems more electrical but i could have my foot i my mouth)

well 1st thing is 1st... pull ur codes., to be honest to me sounds like a battery issue... did u ground it well???? and if its in the trunk like u say, is ur engine grounded well?
then i would check TPS, and crank angle sensor thing...

I don't enough knowledge to diagnos my self, IM currently at sait for this
sunidge Mazda did a full 2.0h of paid diagnosis. They recommended a wiring harness and ecu. This semester if gonna so
exhuast gas anlysis and scan some codes for the intermitent check engine light aswell. I'm probly gonna go the wreakers and get a ecu and see if it fixes it.

oh and try to maybe schange a distributor or do an HEI mod.... Mazdas have poor distributors

Tach dropping to zero indicates spark stopped, it runs from the disty.
