so im waiting for UPS to drop off the piping. and before everyone starts talking smack, I dont expect any performance gains. I'm doing it for the looks and sound. ill have some pics up after its on

I wish I had cold weather, its about 90 here in cali. my car doesn't run that good in the heat.

Have you put in IM thermo spacers? That makes the biggest difference.

not sure what that is, I pretty much just followed hoodzy's cold air how to.



but anyways felt I had to test it so I went to the racer meet up where they do street races. just randomly lined up with a 92-ish civic, wasn't loud and I could tell he had a discount exhaust. found out the hard way that he was too quick, I was barely at 5.5 rpm aiming to shift at 7, at my 5.5 he was already at second, got owned by a length and a half. good motivation for more mods tho

they are a thick spacer that you replace your intake manifold gaskets with. they prevent heat from transfering from the really hot heads to the intake mani.

Where did you get it? Looks great!

Is our piping 3" in diameter?
I have a really nice ss steel & K&N piece I took off my truck when I put on the Mopar unit. Wonder if I can adapt it to fit my MX with a fermco coupler.
