ok, so i just replaced my spark plugs with iridium tip plugs, and 8.2 mm thunderbolt wires.. when i took the old plugs out, all plugs were extremly burnt, however one of the plugs was completely drenched in oil. Anyone have any idea's as to what could cause this? ive had a few people say it could be a valve seal, others say it could be a scorched cylinder, or the piston rings could be gone. i have the 1.6 litre dohc engine, and am looking to blow this one up so i have a good excuse to upgrade to the klze.. but my engine only has 180kms on it, and i would have thought she had more life left. anyways, any input on this topic would be great! Thanks alot!!

As for the KLZE swap, i'd just do a BP-T swap as you have to do way more work to swap from 4-6 cylinders

change the valve cover gasket. ^ agree that the KLZE swap is not your best option, if the engine is in ok shape, boost it.

ok thanks for the advice! im going to change the vavle cover gasket, because at this point it is the easiest option to try. I wouldnt be suprised if its a problem wth the piston rings. when i push my car hard i can hear sort of a knocking kind of sound comming out of the engine.. im not sure if it is the valve's ticking or if its the piston knocking.
