Could there be something electrical in the car that would make the idle really low, and/or stall when i come to stops? When i start the car in the mornings/cold the idle is high, i figure it should be a little high then as the car warms up it goes down, but it goes way down. When i have the headlights on the idle goes down even further. Sharp turns make it go down as well. Although when i have the a/c running the idle rises a little but when i come to stops it drops again. In talks with mechanics, and auto parts store reps they suggest that the IAC(idle air control) Valve might be the cause.I have adjusted the idle through the Diagnostic with TEN/GND connections, but that didnt help. Also tried to adjust throttle cord, just to be sure but neither of those worked.

Are you saying that you entered diagnostic mode, then started the car, then adjusted the idle adjustment screw once the car reached operating temp, then pulled the jumper, then turned off the car?

no, i followed the Repair manual as it told me, also before i went ahead on that i looked up other peoples experiences on this site.

"Set-up Idle
Warm up the engine (i.e. till fan cuts in).
Switch ignition off.
Open lid on small Diagnostic connector box
Inside lid there is a diagram of the pins on the connector. Use something to connect pin TEN to pin GND (I used a paperclip). This will put the car in diagnostic mode.
Restart car.
Now adjust idle speed by turning the large Philips headed screw in the top of the throttlebody.
Set the idle speed about 150 rpm below your desired idle as when out of diagnostic mode it will idle higher.
Switch off ignition.
Remove paperclip.
Restart car, and hopefully it idles OK" - Moray MacDearmid

The manual doesn't say to turn off the ignition before pulling the jumper. I've always pulled the jumper first, and it works perfectly.

you should check all the vacum lines going to the throttle body.. i had a small vacum hose that screwed my idle right up.. spent the whole summer trying to figure it out, than plugged tis little hose in and the idle went perfect
