I'm on the fence with it. Seems legit overall though. Meh...

Hmmm. An engine that, while applying torque to the tranny, blows straight up without a sign of spinning, and producing so little damage overall to the tractor?
I don't buy it.

It does spin slightly. If you mounted a very heavy engine so that it rotated on the crankshaft of a very heavy engine, I can't see the "rotational" mass engine rotating if the center of mass was not concentric with the crankshaft. The torque required to impart a moment would be VERY large, and increase greaty as the distance from the center of mass to the center of rotation increased.

I don't think so. For an engine to fail that way it would mean the engine mounts failed first (precisely because of the engine's torque), given that there's no axial forces acting on the flywheel/flexplate when the engine mounts are in good shape. then, the engine stumbling would cause the failure of the engine/tranny connection, but by that time the engine would already be stumbling wildly, and making a mess while at it.

This looks like some cheap wannabe Hollywood effect to me.

I agree. It seems totally believeable to me. Just a really big engine tearing itself apart. One mount fails and the others are toast immediately. Once the engine is churning free of the chassis there's no way the bellhousing bolts could hold it.

agreed. I don't think it 's fake either.

Though could you imagine seeing it in real life? Wild...

A super-stock tractor runs between 2500 to 5000hp...I think 2500hp exploding would look something like that.
