being from england i'm pretty much bolloxed when it comes to buying a bolt on turbo kit, has anyone made there own on here? i got this far today, i'm either going to sell the car (ive decided i detest fwd) or continue this on sunday

do they not have mandrel bends in the old country? If you have the time and skill, why not make your own. Everything on mine was custom.. (4cyl) and I think I would do it again.

There's turbo pipes for £200 in some uk shops. It's a cheap car to turbo really. Fwd isn't so bad... It's what you make of it and what you want from a car.

i am makig my own, i made them pipes today, its a shite pic though, i'm using a turbo off a t3 rs turbo (ford escort) i'm planning on putting the exit pipe on the other side of the chassis leg, this means i'm going to cut up the thing that is hanging down from the left hand side under the bumper

Why are you not using mandrel bends? Or do they just not show up in the pics?

+1 He does good work I was lucky enough to see some of it in his garage!

These are my custom made pipes. We made them and the 3 inch exhaust in 2 days. there are more in my worklog http://www.mx-3.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.ph ... 1&start=30
