Very unfortunate
SO it looks as though i won't be taking the mx-3 to germany with me. Kind of a long story. Originally bought the car last year. Sold it to someone, he simply did not take care of the thing, trashed it, left the window open during the winter and through all the rain that we had throughout the year. The bastard lost the title for it, it was never put into my name, because i did not have it long enough, and was never put into the womans name i bought it from. Needless to say all the paperwork is screwed up. Would not have been a problem if the guy would not had lost it. I think we are all to blame but should have known he wasn't going to take care of it. Talked to the woman i bought it from and she spent 2 weeks back and forth between the original owner and the DMV and since im leaving so soon, there is nothing we can do. So the car is pretty much trash or a parts car. Its running on temp tags right now. I spent 2 hours trying to get the car running again and managed to do so, there is nothing wrong with it. Just needed to vent to some complete strangers about this seemingly hopeless event. It was such a prestine Mx3 too!

Welcome to the club!
At the end of April, I've got the best deal ever!. I bought a white '94 4 cyl, in perfect shape, clean title, with a '95 b6 with 47000 miles in it, for $500, just to have it stolen a month later.
So, it looks I'm not gonna be taking it to Germany either. Of course, I'm not going to Germany, so that shouldn't really be a problem.
Anyways, just letting you know you're not alone...
