No, the KL cars use a KL02 VAF while the mx3 uses a Je50, they're not compatible.

Well, fitment wise, they are compatible...it'll just run like crap with the wrong vaf though...

Thank you for your support, I know vaf for k8 is different for kl , I've got kl installed, but i've no service manual
for kl jap engine, so I found a idle value of 1.8 volt from vaf, sm notices around 2.5volt same engine condition
Mixture is obviously rich, my dubt is vaf failure
Considering I've lost original eprom, I checked mixture and vaf signal both k8 eprom than mod kl eprom, in any case
mixture is rich and vaf signal is 1.8 volts
Last response is looking for good vaf and original eprom for kl jap
What's your suggestion ?

Thanks again

You can NOT use the stock K8 VAF and ECU, cause that combination thinks your motor is still the 1.8L V6, so it doesn't know it's running a larger motor, so it doesn't know it's now firing 220cc injectors rather than 180cc.

The KL 'KL02' VAF is actually a decent work around to lean out the mixture to something more resonable when still keeping the original ECU.

You can use a domestic KL ECU and VAF combo on a jap KLZE, since it really doesn't matter if it's a KLDE or KLZE, they are still 2.5L's.

If you get a jap ECU, the KL31 or KL36, you use the stock 1.8 'JE50' VAF with that ECU.

Yep, I agree with your suggestion, but k8 vaf with jap ecu and 2.5 jap engine has restrictive diameter
as I know, I would get all ori parts for jap kl engine and then start with tuning activities

The VAF is the same, there is no physical difference between the 1.8 and 2.5 VAF. BTW, the K8 'JE50' VAF IS is the VAF they use in Japan on the KLZE's

I've got vaf j50 - 1972050060, I assumme is right part for ke engine jap spec, anyway
voltage signal of 1.8 volts at idle is incorrect, so I think vaf is done !!
I belive to need a new vaf and then also a right ecu kl31 or kl36

Hoping to go in the correct way , thanks for all :D
