Is speedo in mph or kph??? If it's KPH, then it rules out UK spec...so far as I know though, the mx3 was sold as the Autozam AZ3 in Japan, and as the Eunos 30X in Australia...could be wrong though, so I'll double check on it.

I'm about to get a bunch of brochures, hopefully that will clear it up but from my research so far...

In Japan:
Autozam AZ-3
Eunos Presso

Australia:
Eunos 30x

UK got a mix of everything:
Eunos Presso
Eunos 30x
Autozam AZ-3
MX-3

North America:
Mazda MX-3

and this might help 8) http://www.mx-3.com/history/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

In NZ

Autozam AZ-3
Eunos Presso
Eunos 30x

Due to us being the land of japanese imports.
Basicly the only difference I can honestly say is trim levels, mechaincally they are the same.

The speedo will only go up to 180Kmph. The Australian Eunos 30x speedo goes to 240kmph.

Also, you most likely won't have an EGR valve on the engine.

Then it would be a Jap import car. The difference is not much either. I think the K8-ZE makes a few more KW of power over the K8-DE. 100KW VS 104-108KW? Hardly anything. Probably 100% due to being run off high octane and not having EGR.
