last weekend i took my girlfriend to the drive in theatres. and too make our stay a little more enjoyable i made a bed.

now heres what i did.

as most of you know i dont have any form of rear seat, and i used to have a rear strut bar (hard to fit 2 bmx bikes with rear strut bar, so bye bye rear strut bar) i layed down a THICK (im talkin 6 inchs) of foam, i flipped my front seats forwards and with another piece of foam i dropped it down into the rear passenger feet section, and leant it up against the back of the front seats. i coverd the foam with a king size comforter blanket and threw 2 pillows in there and another blanket to cover.


RESULTS: well if you are down for actually watching the movie then open the hatch and lean against the backs of your seats, it makes for a very nice. almost "recliner love seat" very comfortable for watching the usual 2 movies you get with drive ins. or if your like me and just DTF (if you dont know what DTF means, well then it sounds like theres no reason for you to be reading this how to) then close the hatch and be amazed at actually how much room there is back there!!

anyways my girlfriend thought it was so good that i am actually re-making the bed back there and going camping tonight.

I always wondered if a bed was possible in the back of an mx-3...

if nothing else (if you can't get a girl) at least you have a comfy place to sleep when you go camping

ohhh i nearly forgot.

when all that foam is back there. the sound deadening is soooo good. barely hear any exhaust note at all! and when you take the foam out you will get little foam tear offs that you have to vacuum out. which sorta sucks but w.e

oh they definitly fall for that trick man.

Agreed with the above post. but theres also the question of.. if the GF kicks you out of the house........ you have a place to stay haha.... hey least id be happier IN the car than in the house with a P.o'd Gf.......
