k8 not pass e-test with high nox

ok so my k8 didnt pass an e-test!! It passed everything but the NOX at driving rpm's!! What could be causing it to fail...what to try to get it to pass??

get a good fuel system cleaning done. we had a catera come into my work that did not pass e test no matter what we did. nox was triple the limit. we did a motovac (snap on fuel system cleaning machine) and she passed with flying colours. carbon buildup in the combustion chamber will give it a high nox reading. check your egr too.

My car sat for 3 yrs and passed, tight on the limit for HC though. Try some gas line antifreeze.
