I've been looking everywhere for door panels with black inserts that don't have the manual window crank hole and I just can't find any. Every junkyard GS I've seen has that ugly purple stitched pattern, I've only seen RS's with black fabric inserts. So did the GS ever come with black inserts? (apart from the SE of course)

The panels off my GS had black inserts. it was a '94, then again, I don't know if those were SE panels like my seats. But why not try to find a '94+ RS with power windows? They do exist....somewhere.

My GS has the fugly purple crap on the drivers side, and black on the pass-side, one of the previous owners had a little misshap that required a new pass-side door, I noticed the rasp-metalic paint under the white long before I noticed the difference in fabric.

I still haven't found a single RS with power windows yet...

I had a 1994 rs with power windows, a/c, cruise control, and air bags. so they're out there.

why not jsut use the manual ones you have cut the whole for the power window switch in the drivers side and as for the wholes from the cranks just put some tweeters in them with a crossover.

I don't need any extra tweeters, but it's ok, I found a pair of panels that are perfect.

I was gonna say just about all the 94+ rs or gs have the black panels... I've seen a few 92-93 rs with a dark gray color that looks nice as well.

All the FULL 94 interiors that I have had (3) the panels are not black on the ones I had. They are dark blue, to match the seats.

I know the SE's come with black panels and there are some random rare GS/RS ones that have em, but the majority have dark blue..

The J-Spec 1992 GS I robbed for parts had the black in it.(When I say robbed, I mean stripped from the Junkyard) The entire interior of that one quickly replaced the fugly yarn-barn crap that was in mine...

and to solo ryder - dark blue/black whatever haha I'm pretty sure mine are black and came out of a 94 GS in fact my interior panels on both cars came out of 94 GS mx-3's I'm going to take a look tonight closer at both for validation.

Just to make checking easier, the '94+ panels didn't have the "Touch" rubber thing on them.

Whaaat are you talking about all MX-3s have the little touch things. My newly acquired 94 GS has the black inserts

checked mine... one set is blueish and the other is black...

I remember reading somewhere that they took them out on newer ones. But don't get so cocky, I'll have so nice panels soon.

And Mooneggs, do you know what year they each came from?
