New car

No pics yet (will post tomorrow) but I got myself another car to hang with my MX.

It's a (93 i presume) Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR4 5 speed (the twin turbos one  ).

Runs like a champ.. needs paint, no rust. Has 19 inch custom Nitto Invo tires with DrifZ rims. Only upgrates to it at the moment are custom headers, custom intake, and a boost controller that I haven't installed yet due to no data logger for me to control the boost (and there are a few things I want to do before upping boost).

I'm planning to get a turbo timer first and then the custom exhaust done. Not sure what else after that. I mean crap.. this car already hauls lol.

But yeah I'll post pics tomorrow.

Sure is a fun car (and when I realize how slow my car is... well.. it's sad.. though the BP should make me feel better hehe)

Friend had one, said you have to remove the IM to replace the plugs. HE said the dealer wanted $800 for a tune up.

Yeah I saw that ><... and I never asked the dealer what they wanted to do labor.. I have a mechanic that, if I don't want to work on it, will do it for a good price.

Oh I saw.. when I first popped the hood and saw the massive intake mani.. i was like O.O... but you are right, I haven't had to work on anything yet.. the only thing I had to do so far was install the boost gauge but.. needless to say, that was easy.

a 95 VR4 TT 3000GT was my first drag rival ever.

I was less than a second behind him in my ZE.

Nice car, I'm sure you'll have fun cruising the highway with that. They're alot more comfortable than some of the other high HP TT cars of the 90s.

Seriously? What about the 4G63 motor? What about Galant VR4s, Eclipse GST/GSXs, EVO I-IXs? Last I checked they beat the hell out of the 3000GT in horsepower numbers, ease of modibility (is that a word??), gas mileage, and reliability. The 4G63 is the strongest 4 banger ever built, how is that not a redeeming aspect for Mitsu?
