Megasquirt with Coilpacks...getting close?!

I am getting fuel and spark, but assumably not in the right order.

Setup:
ford cougar/mondeo v6 coilpack with bracket bolted securely to an old disty
disty removed
ground lead added from coilpack to battery
ground off tooth on crank as per diagram

What works:
Spark
Fuel
RPM getting 200+ whilst cranking
Getting 13-14 volts at coilpack power
Getting .2v pulses to each coil
Getting spark out of wires

The MS to Coilpack leads are definately in the right order. I'm quite sure now the HT leads are right now. My batterys getting very low though I've made a few datalogs.

DATALOG:

MSQ:

I can't seem to find the "Wheel decoder is 024s9 style" at the bottom of my wheel decoder page. Is this the issue or is this obsolete? All I have is "Dual Dizzy" which I have set to normal and Generic Wheel in the codebase menu.

It sounds like its almost starting.
Does the grouping of injectors matter? Mine are:
Group1/Black MS lead: 1 2 6
Group2/Red MS lead: 3 4 5

Update:

Looks like I'm not getting enough fuel. I can smell it, but wideband is showing lean (17). Argh...

Could you make a write up from this when you're finished??

I'd love to see more !!

For sure. It's been a complete nightmare for me, I'd like to make it easier for others.

UPDATE:
Plugs are wet with fuel, obviously plenty of it. Either somethings seriously outta time or spark isn't right. Argh.

-I am getting spark through all 6 HT leads
-I am getting fuel in all cylinders to the extent of flooding
-I appear to be getting ok rpm and other inputs

I was thinking the firing was wrong so started working through it with my Dad.

We got cylinder 1 firing regularly
Added 3 and 5, seemed like at least one of them was firing
Started adding even bank plug and got nothing.
Reverted back to the known working cylinder 1 and it has now stopped working

Seems a bit erratic, after that the plugs were all wet again. Did the flood clear, tried again and nothing. I'm pretty sure my tooth is well ground down, like it's really low.

 thanks you inspired me to persevere, though alas it got me knowhere!

Update:
Removed coilpacks
Restored Dizzy
Soldered 3 coilpack outputs into dizzy ignition trigger
Tried to start it - no signs of starting

I noticed the RPM is very jerky, like it updates only once a second. Is that normal? I then adjusted the two screws on the grey pots, (part of the conditioning circuit) now I have NO RPM signal! I'm going to solder a wire direct from the MS RPM input to my VR sensor so wiring cannot be at fault. Man this sucks!

I think hppwdn is running coilpacks. Ask him how he got them going.

Is it flodded again??

Maybe your injectors (rings) are worn out

Here it is with full toothed pulley on MSnS mode

Here it is with full toothed pulley on MSnS mode AND INVERTED the two wires of the VR sensor!

You can see the second is much more sensible...BUT Megasquirt kept resetting every few cranks... So has my backwards OEM harness been the issue? I always noticed everywhere said it's always the ?blue? wire for signal, but mine was the opposite?
