are both of them out or is it just one? they are wired into the parking lights fuse so if the rest of your marker lights work it must be something else... are you sure the wires to them are connected?

wiring back up there is known to get corroded. Never gets washed. Gets all the oily crud from the road.

How do i install a new license plate light I wasnt thinking when i ordered the other parts from mazda. The bolt lens were so rusted i had to brake off the lens to try and see if the light would work. So i did but well i couldnt find the lens. So i bought a license plate light from canadian tire but there is no instructions. How would o mount this thing. It has no connectors just a one wire.
Need help thanks

Whokid, I'm not sure what you bought, but its wrong.
You probably bought a trailer light. Those ground through chassis. You won't ground very well through a urethane bumper.
You need to either get new licence plate light housings, or go custom.
My solution was to drill out a hole in the back, insert a bulb socket from an old gauge cluster, solder new pigtails on it, and urethane the crap out of it. Works great so far.
I have a pic somewhere...
