I've been looking to replace all of my rubber seals but I have one slight draw back, I can't find any new sets! Does anyone know where I could find some?

Try a Dealer, those are parts I've never seen the benefit in gettin used. I've done some under the hood, both doors (huge improvement) and I think I might have done that hatch... I'll hafta check on that one. If it's rubber it's worth replacing on a 17 year old car

the only thing I could suggest other than a dealer is go to junkyards and maybe you will get lucky... or look for someone parting out their car... but like jutzi said, rubber is kind of pointless to buy used unless yours is REALLY destroyed...

Thanks for the info even though it was definitely not what I wanted to hear. (I just feel dealers rip you off!) Well I guess I just have to bite the bullet now.

Good to see another Texas MX-3 in the house! I'm in the same boat as you man, I'm going to have to go to the Mazda dealership and ask them as well. I'm reluctant to do so, though, cause my car is so unbearably ugly. The outside is...unpleasant. The interior is near perfect though. The cracking seals on the windshield, hatch, and doors don't help the already fading, chipping, and mismatched paint. I'm getting it there, slowly.

Hey Thassodar where are you located at? I'm about 45 minutes north of Amarillo. I got the same problem, the old Texas heat has not been kind to my MX. Not to mention the previous owner's wrath!

i can give u one tip.. cause i just went through this ... the litle plastic clips that hold on the stripping around the whole door ..are 150 ish each... so try keep the clips.. u can get them out from inside the door if u take off the skin and s---.. good luck

I think he meant 1.50, lol if they were $150 each for a piece of plastic that small, you'd have to be mentally incapacitated to buy them...you need like 20 clips for the door, so who would pay 3000 for that hahaha.

Ya I was needing to check my britches after that! $1.50 is a lot more reasonable in comparison!

I looked up your town and you're WAAAAY far from me. I'm in Arlington, about 10-15 miles west of Dallas. Let me know how much they tell you for the whole kit so I can ration my money aside.
