It greatly depends on a thousand variables, however, my MX-3 is one of the top 3 most reliable cars I've owned out of about 30, including 2 Mercedes in great shape. Get the car looked at by a mechanic, and see what he says. If it was treated right, it can easily go 300,000 miles with regular maintenance.

yeah if you are mechanically inclined and plan on never taking it to a mechanic then a v6 mx3 is what you want.

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

They are very reliable if not worn out. There are still many nice mx-3 with 300 k km+ . You should almost expect to spend a little to put any used car in top shape.

Get a good inspection before you lay your cash down. MX-3 are amazingly good car. :)

 ^^That's why he bought 5 of them.
I drove a 626 across the desert many times from Phoenix, Az to Vegas, and California with the cruise control set between 100 and 110MPH for hours at a time with no problems, and have had a 323 with 200,000 miles that took alot of abuse, an RX-7 that I wasn't nice to (blew a radiator hose, and it recovered fine), and my stock GS had 120,000 miles on it when I bought it, and I drove it across Texas many times in 100+ degrees for hours at a time, and loaded it up with my worldly posessions, and drove it to Portland, Oregon. The only trouble it ever had was the distributor made by Mitsubishi.
I drive hard, and my Mazdas have held up better than any other brand I've owned.
