Transmission mount issue

I'd like to clear up an issue im having with my BP swap.
I had a problem using my front stock transmission mount with bracket from the F-series trans on my G-series trans.
I tried rimmy-jigging it to work but now my shifter linkage is pushed back too far and not allowing me to shift gears. I believe the engine is sitting to far down in the front because of this front mount. Anyone know if i need the mount and bracket from a g-series to make this work for me?
I just tried searching this on my own but haven;t really found a good answer. Hope someone can clear this up.
thanks

This is from the MOCA guys, check their site out here:
http://www.atlantamx3.com/mocaforum/viewtopic.php?t=70 I had to go to the junkyard and get the two piece mount that goes on the trans/drivers side.
-------------------------------------------------
"Mounts - It would be wise to upgrade the mounts to Mazdaspeed or new factory mounts that with polyfilled inserts. The engine you are about to put in will have more torque, so minimizing engine movement will prevent wheel hop with the trade off of more vibration at idle. All Protege mounts from 90-94 will work as well.
You can use the passenger side mount from the Mx-3 (#4).
You can use the tranny rear mount and bracket from the Mx-3 (#2). Closest to the firewall.
You can use the tranny front mount from the Mx-3 (#1). You must use the mount bracket from the Protege tranny. Near the radiator.
You can use the driver side mount from the Mx-3 (#3). This is a 2 piece mount that can be seperated. You will use the rubber portion of the mount only. The other half must come from the 1.8 Dohc Protege, Mercury, or Ford Escort wagon, sedan, or coupe. Or you could just use the entire mount from the Protege. "

I also found the RS front mount would not work so I had to pick up an Escort GT mount. Worked great however I still had to flip the bolt in the trans linkage due to interference issues.
