Air/Fuel meters for BPT

Hey gang. I want to get an air/fuel gauge for my BPT, but there's only the one spot for the sensor so I can't add a second one. Is there a way to splice into that sensor's wiring to get a signal for a gauge?

you may have to weld a new bung onto the down pipe. and get just a new wideband kit from AEM or related product.

I assume we want it before the wastegate line joins back up with the exhaust?

I believe it needs to be 12-18 inches away from the turbo, pends on the make tho

So to be on the safe side, I'd put it close to where the current one is now?

I don't know for sure what the BP dp looks like. best thing to do is check the specs on the wb kit you get. I'll see if I can find any deals on AEM. I posted a deal a few months back, doubt that is still the same price. will let you know.

So even if I had this A/F ratio gauge, and I could see that maybe I'm leaning out... what could I do about it? How can I tune the GTX ECU?

you can't really. you'd need a piggy or stand alone to tune with. A WB should be on all after market turbo setups. Although you are unable to tune your car, you will know when not to push it. If you see her running lean, you can back off before you destroy any rings.

If I can see that I'm leaning out at the top end, would upgrading the injectors fix that? Just because they're bigger doesn't mean they're dumping more fuel all the time, only that they have the ability to when needed, right?

injectors can solve that problem. it's all about duty. They will work in conjunction with the oe bpt ecu that you are using. The ecu will tell the injectors to dump fuel and they will no matter what size they are. unless you control the pulse width of the injetors, bigger will dump more fuel.

So assuming I'm leaning out in the top end, and I added a bigger injector to compensate, I would then likely run richer in the lower end?

I thought the ECU regulates how much fuel is injected based on the amount of air coming in?
