Working at my dads friends shop and we have a Mazda 626 in that is stumping us to death.

Here are the symptoms:

No fuel pressure
no spark
battery is good
lights, cd palyer, and other electrical loads work
ECU shows no codes, and all diagnostic tests (idk what kind of reader it is but it's a good one) shows fine.

Now, one day after just.. playing around with it.. it fired.. we didn't do anything though which is the odd part.. we just decided to try to crank it again and it fired like nothing was wrong.

It ran for a while, but then a yesterday the temperature dropped real cold overnight (around 25F), and today (a nice 64F) it would not fire again.

so yeah.. it's odd.. we are checking grounds but so far they all seem good.

if anyone can help out in figuring this out it would be appreciated.. the Mazda dealership over here is terrible and are of no help >_>.

Maybe the ECU itself is dead, or something became unplugged.

+3 for the ECU, Do you live in a humid climate?
