HELP HELP Just finished k8 swap but wont turn over

Post by evomx »

HEY HELP ME! lol I just swapped my K8 and it will turn over but will not start. When it turning over it is making a squeeking noise from one of the cylnders. Any one have any ideas?!? engine was sitting for a couple of months but i doubt that hurt it.

did you hook your fuel lines up correctly? not backwards? are your spark plug wires in the correct firing order?

I am going to check the fule lines in the moring but i belive they are connected correctly. I also belive the spark plugs are in the correct firing order. I almost seems like it is not getting fule. also this engine has not been ran for about a year. I know the fuel pump works. I do not have the exhaust hooked up as well at the o2 sensors but i dont belive that will make a difference. I am going to check the compressions in the cyl as well if i am even getting a spark.

I think a mouse may of crawled into one of the cylinders. Don't laugh, it's possible. :) In this case I'm just kidding.

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
