Millenia S handbrake boot

Post by Mad Cow »

I just want to share a new discovery, the handbrake boot from a Millenia S (maybe even normal Millenia) fits perfectly, the mounting holes even line up so there's zero modifications needed. :) I looks a billion times better than our ugly stock rubber thing, and you can probably get one for next to nothing at a junkyard.

Looks good!

On mine, I used my old Mx-3 shift boot for the ebrake, took a little bit of work, but no much really. I think I got the idea from Devlin

K8Boosted, everyone was thinking it, but you had to post it, haha!

My fast car has this since I got it, and I think of that every time. But I grab the shaft anyways, rub the tip, and with a little persuasion, I make it go down.

I've been thinking about getting custom boots from redline. They also sell shifter boots! That looks really nice! Is it real leather?

I'm not sure, I'm really bad at finding the difference between real and fake leather. It does look different from the stock shifter boot though,

They are VERY simple and easy to make with some help from a fabric store! Cost you about $10 and you get exactly what colour you want! I will post pics of mine once I get those and my rear seats done.

or you can get a custom one from redline goods. Mine is suede, it looks much better in person than on pics lol. Its synthetic (alcantara) but they also sell real leather ones.
