No pictures yet cause I'm posting from my celly. I don't think I've seen them done like this yet. Shots will be up this afternoon.

--- Edit ---

Ok, here's the pictures, same as the regular black ones, except I wanted a little bit of chrome on 'em still. So I left the rings around the lenses. A little preview of what I'm planning once I can decide which style of prejectors I wanna go with.

Here's how I maskded 'em:

I got the heat gun a little to close to the lense here... melted it a bit. I just gave it a couple coats of black and it looks fine though, haha.

I know they are chrome, so this may help if you have problems.

Take off the chrome before painting and it may come out better (that's if you have problems of course).

The paint seemed to go on alright. I'm not sure they were actually chrome tho, I could see spots where it had rubbed off. Makes me think they're just painted chrome.

I know someone will say this yet, but the blue bulbs will get you in trouble. Amber and red only in the rear, with exception to reverse lights which must be white and license plate illumination which must also be white....

That first pic looks very very nice though. Good call on leaving the chrome rings.

They actually light up white, not blue. But yeah, I've still gotten pulled for it, or had it mentioned when I got pulled for something unrelated. White is probably the only non standard signal color you can talk your way out of though, since there's so many cars on the road now with clear signals, I've seen all kinds of factory rides with clear bulbs in clear signals, hell, I've seen the odd Accent or Neon with an amber in one side and a clear in the other.

Mine haven't even arrived yet, but I may play around with the stock taillights I pull off - any suggestions?

Yea those super white bulbs turn the cops heads thinking it's blue when it's not on! ahah and just to let you know you can have white as a turn signal, does not have to be red or Amber. In Ontario atleast.
