I definately miss summer. I can't go anywhere fast now. Gotta drive nice and careful. No going fast around on ramps.. That, and my car is very loud in winter. Everything rattles! Also, everything is stiff. Steering, suspension, brakes, shifting, the entire tranny...the foggy windows.

Oh well, 4 months to go.

I think I can safely say I miss summer more than anyone on here. I grew up in Arizona, and love the heat. I retired, and moved to Hawai'i where it was summer every day for 4 years, and went to the beach almost every day. Now I live in constant overcast, and rain, and cold. I have Seasonal Affective Disorder, and am depressed. I don't fully wake up when the sun doesn't come out. I have 5 100w light bulbs of different types/ spectrums, including 1 made for S.A.D. in my living room, and live on coffee. I struggle to get things done.

Awh man I miss the summer immensely. In Northern Ireland we barely get a summer's day, the rain just changes temperature a bit. If it wasn't for family and friends I'd be outta here like a bat out of hell. I LOVE the sun, the heat, the ability to work on my car outside. I've SAD for sure! A sunny day just flips my mood, it directly effects my motivation and energy. It's ridiculous, but true. I'm just back from Spain, their winter was better than my summer.

Most Canadians(Manitobans at least) have fantasies about Ireland. I think its the rolling greenery, as compared to our flat white.

Well considering we had the coldest december ever, I hate saskatchewan winters. It hit minus 40 a few times, well over minus 50 with win chill.

To pass the time, take a cup of boiling water and throw it outside. Under minus 30 and it should turn into snow/evaporate before it hits the ground.

Lol!

Well we had some alert status on the weather lately because of the crazy cold 5ºC, if you're in shorts (41 Fahrenheit)
As you can see our biggest problem is foggy windows and people who don't know how to drive in the rain because it doesn't rain much (doesn't snow at all).

My favourite winter joke:

"If you need to take a leak out there today, you better back up quick"

We have many weather problems.

Also, if you spit outside, its not unusual to hear it crackle, or even shatter when it hits something hard.

True, I did it at -14. Its pretty kool, although dont set your coffee mug down outside when you do it...Mine shattered lol

Or your alcoholic beverage. My bro and I always smoke cigars at Christmas. Both our drinks froze. Not sissy drinks at Christmas either.
