4 Cyl 1.6 1992 mx3 not firing right need help?

i have a 92 mx3 1.6 it is not firing right. one and three cly firing but two and four not. replaced dist and plugs and wires, hoping that it is still in time was before it stared to act up. all it does now is back fire and has no power could anyone give me any advice.

plus, the 92 SOHC doesn't have distributor problems like the rest of the MX3's.


Timing might be off. You might have really messed up valves (my engine did) I'd check timing first. Timing woudl explain backfire and seeming like cyls don't fire.
